My Lib Dem colleagues and I have been campaigning for such a facility for a long time so a big thank you to those who have helped to push this campaign along. Amongst others they are Jack Colbert, Geoff Howe, Cliff Mainey, Andrew Blackburn and Robbie Fenton. My thanks to them and to all the residents who backed our campaign.
The big issue now will be getting the building work started. Clearly we Lib Dems will want it to be as soon as possible.
