This sadly is an issue oft covered on this blog site – oh how I wish it were otherwise.

At face value Merseyside Police seem to be getting on top of the problem but my feeling is there is still a long, long way to go to get guns off the streets of Merseyside.

There is a depressing regularity about these shootings in Sefton Borough and on Merseyside generally. Will they ever end?

Sadly, this is a regular theme of mine and I only wish it were not. What does it take to get guns off our streets. Nice to see the Police making some inroads here but my feeling is that this is a deep rooted problem where they are only seeing the tip of the iceberg.
