A story for the Christmas season to warm the heart of pretty much no one.
In what some would term an unusual move (and others would say is utterly barmy) His Lordship and Baldrick his unfaithful serf/elf are supposedly (according to a press release from His Lordship) setting out on their Christmas 2015 Expedition tonight.

Starting off along the Leeds Liverpool Canal in Lydiate the intrepid pair of barmpots claim that they intend to visit London, Kirkaldy, Steinhude (where’s that?) and Zagreb.

If this expedition actually happens I will eat Paddy Ashdown’s hat assuming he hasn’t already eaten it himself by now!

I undertook a ‘Driver Experience’ day there with my Brother-In-Law Ian a few years ago and we had an excellent day shunting up and down the tracks.
It is open to the public most Sundays and is well worth a visit.
